The YAPOY Cordless Automatic Curling Iron is a game-changer for effortless, beautiful curls wherever you are. It’s rechargeable, portable, and simple to use—even for beginners. Whether you’re aiming for tight ringlets or soft beach waves, this curling iron offers versatile styling with customizable settings.
How to Use It
- Charge the Device: Use the included USB cable to fully charge the curling iron before first use.
- Power On: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until you hear a beep. The LCD will light up and the temperature icon will begin flashing, indicating it’s heating up.
- Select Your Settings:
- Curl Direction: Choose between Left (L), Right (R), or Mix (alternates automatically for a more natural look).
- Temperature:
- Low = loose, big waves
- High = tight, small ringlets
- Curl Time: Set how long the hair is curled (e.g., 8s for soft curl, 12s for defined curl).
- Battery & Unit: The display also shows battery status and lets you switch between °F and °C.
- Press the power button briefly to switch between settings. When a value flashes, use the secondary button to increase or decrease it.
- Prepare Your Hair:
- Comb your hair thoroughly to remove tangles.
- Optionally apply light hair oil. Some mild steam, smell, or smoke may appear due to heating—this is normal and temporary.
- Section Hair: Divide your hair into small parts. Clip up unused sections and leave one to curl.
- Insert Hair: Take a section and place it into the chamber, with the U-shaped opening facing outward. Avoid thicker sections to prevent tangling.
- Curl It: Hold down the curl button. The barrel will rotate and curl your hair automatically. Do not release the button until you hear the beep, which signals the curl is complete. Releasing early will stop the process.
- Let It Cool: Wait for each curl to cool before styling or brushing for long-lasting hold.
- Auto Shut-Off: The device will automatically turn off after 10 minutes of inactivity for safety.
Pro Styling Tips
- Use high temperature for small, tight curls or short hair.
- Use lower temperature for loose waves or fine hair.
- To avoid a stiff or unnatural look, don’t curl all strands in the same direction. Use the alternate mode for a balanced, natural result.
- For volume, curl hair away from the face near the front.
