The new T3 Fit hair dryer is like a small versional of T3’s flagship CURA LUXE dryer, but it comes with a lighter body and mini-size design. T3 claims that the Fit blow dryer is 30% smaller and 20% lighter than a full-size hair dryer.

The dryer itself is always beautiful and neat, just like other T3 hair tools. With the classic white and rose gold combination, the small T3 looks fairly fancy. And the curvy contour of this product makes the dryer comfortable to hold and easy for packing in luggage.

What About The Blow Drying Settings?

The T3 Fit hair dryer does not provide 5 heating options as the professional T3 CURA LUXE dryer does. But, considering its size, it is still pretty satisfying.

The new T3 Micro Fit hair dryer offers 3 heat settings and 2 speed levels, which is not commonly seen in a compact hair dryer. If you take a look at those travel-sized blow dryers on the market, you will find that most of them have only one button to control the heat and airflow speed together.

How’s The Performance of The T3 Fit Hair Dryer?

The T3 Fit hair dryer is probably the most powerful travel hair dryer that I have used. It’s super hot when you set the heat to the highest level, and its nozzle gets the job done perfectly in focusing on different hair sections and delivering hot airflow to specific areas.

What is worth to be mentioned is that even the small blow dryer is very hot, it does not give you much frizz and heat damage. My personal experience was like – it dried my hair pretty fast and I couldn’t notice it is a such small hair dryer without looking at it. And I felt my hair was pretty soft and healthy, I didn’t feel anything uncomfortable caused by the high heat.

I guess I should give the credit to the T3’s IonAir technology, which is utilized in T3’s advanced hair dryer models. This is the first time that this technology is used in a compact blow dryer.

Differences Between The T3 Fit and The Old T3 Compact Dryer

You may know that there’s a previous T3 compact blow dryer called “FEATHERWEIGHT COMPACT”, and you might be wondering what new improvements the T3 Fit has.

Weight-wise, the new Fit dryer is not lighter than the old model. According to the official specification, the weight of the new T3 Fit is 14.11 oz while the old model is 13.9oz.

However, as I mentioned above, the T3 Fit blow dryer is a special blow dryer that comes with separate heat and speed controls. The old Featherweight Compact dryer only has one button that allows you to adjust the heat and speeds.

Also, I found that the T3 Fit blow dryer’s wattage is higher (1600W) than the old Featherweight Compact (1200W). That’s why I said the T3 Fit is a very powerful model in all the travel blow dryers.

Although the T3 Fit is a considerable upgrade, the old compact blow dryer has its own strengths, especially in flexibility. For example, the Featherweight Compact has dual voltage feature and a folding handle for portableness.

I personally think the old Featherweight Compact blow dryer is more suitable for travel use, and the new T3 Fit is more like a portable and reliable blow dryer for families.

Price Is Not Raised, But Still Expensive

Compared to the old compact dryer, the T3 Fit does not have a higher price, but it’s not cheaper either. On the official website, it is on sale for $149.99 and they accept installment plans with afterpay. Final Verdict – It’s a pretty good small blow dryer, but not a travel dryer

I admit that the T3 Fit blow dryer is lightweight and small enough and it has a nice look, it’s easy to hold and comfortable to use. As a home blow dryer, the blow dryer is great with decent drying power and a perfect styling experience.

But if you are buying a dryer for travel use, I don’t think this dryer should be your only option. The biggest problem is that it can not be folded and the long cord can be challenging to manage. And it is not a dual voltage dryer, so it can’t be conveniently used abroad.
