Italian-Made Supersolano 3500 Lite Hair Dryer Review

If you know the hair tools industry very well, you will know most of the hair dryers on the high-end market are made in Europe. With European delicate designs and fancy features, these blow dryers usually can offer stunning drying performance. So, here is another review of an excellent hair dryer made in Italy – Supersolano 3500 Lite, let’s explore with us.

Design Review

I have to say that, as a luxury hair dryer, the Supersolano 3500 Lite does not have a special design on the outside. The finish is painted with varnished black color and the whole shape looks traditional and standard.

The body material is made of plastic. Luckily, it’s pretty lightweight that you won’t feel tired when having your hair drying. However, I personally think they should make the handle ergonomic to relieve the hand fatigue.

As you can see in the chart, the Supersolano 3500 Lite dryer wattage output is 1875 watt and it has standard 3 heat/2 speed buttons for you to adjust the airflow. I’m not going to say it’s perfect, but the hardware of this hair dryer is qualified.

As for the weight, this is the most interesting part that the dryer only weighs 1 pound. It’s impressive since Supersolano 3500 Lite is not a regular travel blow dryer. As a professional hair dryer that provides salon-grade drying experience, Supersolano 3500 Lite certainly lives up to its reputation. The main reason why the dryer has a featherlight weight is all about its AC motor, which is lighter but also powerful. Honestly, I’m not a fan of AC motor dryer as they usually have a louder noise than DC motors. But the Supersolano 3500 was running quietly during the review.

Besides, the cord of this Supersolano 3500 Lite is pretty long and fairly strong. It has an extra 12 feet long cord that allows you to conveniently dry your hair without wire hassle. There is one thing you need to know though. Because of the length of the cord, the cord actually gives more weight to the dryer. The dryer itself is extremely light, but the whole package is not as lightweight as we expect.

Dryer Technologies Review

Regarding the hair care technologies that Supersolano 3500 Lite has, the dryer did not let us down. There are 4 kinds of hair care technologies that we are familiar with, which is fantastic.

1. Negative Ions

Negative ions keep your hair tresses healthy and bouncy by moistening your hair. Thus, the frizz and static will be removed by negative ions as well.

2. Nano Tourmaline

As a natural gem, tourmaline can boost the effect of negative ions, minimize fly-away and give your hair a shiny and smooth look. Tourmaline is also good for giving hair a full and voluminous look as it’s another way of generating negative ions.

3. Ceramic Materials

Unlike metal materials, ceramic materials help you to dry hair more evenly and more quickly. Besides, ceramic hair dryer has a lower EMF radiation, causing no harm to human body.

4. Infrared Heat

Infrared Heat is the key to keep hair from heat damage. Infrared heat can penetrate your strands and dry your hair thoroughly. The most annoying thing for people who has thick hair is that only the hairs on the surface are dry. With the infrared feature, the heat will go through the hair and dry your entire head. Therefore, you don’t need a high temperature or crazy velocity while the result will be faster.

Drying Experience

During our test, the dryer worked great as it offered decent airflow. And the responding time of the temperature was quick. We thought the AC motor will generate intolerable noise at first, but it turned out quiet and fine.

Compared with other deluxe hair dryers like Dyson Supersonic or Harry Josh, we did not feel it had a significantly faster drying time. But it was comfortable to use the dryer since it’s super lightweight and the cord’s pretty long, which gave us more flexibility and convenience to move while blow drying.

Accessories

The Solano Supersolano 3500 Lite hair dryer has 2 concentrator nozzles for you to get a smooth and fast blowout. If you have natural or wavy hair, these might not be the best choice for you. You have to buy an extra diffuser attachment that is sold separately to achieve a curly or wavy hairstyle.
